Not without humour, the famously notorious story of Oedipus will be rendered through haunting imagery, physical statements and evocative soundscapes that span the centuries across cultural differences and overcome language barriers
In tackling one of the world’s most disturbing and fundamental myths, (whether you subscribe to Freud or not), Voos is once again inviting you to plunge back 2,500 years into an extraordinary adventure that goes to the very roots of Western drama. He has also devised an extended Prologue which covers the fascinating background to the events that Sophocles presents in his play.
