Calling all local songwriters!
Chloe and Silas are looking for local songwriters telling local stories in their national songwriting competition, Our Backyard (www.ourbackyard.org.au). The writer from each region receives exposure in the local media (including airplay on local radio), a songwriting workshop with Chloe and the opportunity to open the show at the Music Centre. Funded by the Contemporary Music Touring Program, Our Backyard is an opportunity for local songwriters to develop their craft, gain exposure and lift their
profile.
Acclaimed singer-songwriter Chloe Hall has teamed up with fiddle legend Silas Palmer for 'Chloe & Silas' for their national regional tour, supporting the release of their album - Spring Hill. The duo, who are being compared to celebrated folk legends; Simon & Garfunkel and Gillian Welch & David Rawlings, bring a blend of uplifting harmonies and unique melodies to audiences. Returning from a successful UK tour, Chloe & Silas have over 30 years of performance experience and proudly continue the tradition of folk troubadours.
Don't miss your chance to see them live!
