$8000 worth of Prizes for the Townsville Comp

1st prize winner of TOWNSVILLE REPRESENT – Passport to Airlie Competition receives:
-$1000 Cash
- VIP tickets for the entire 3 day festival ($1200 tickets each musician)
- Accommodation for the entire festival
- Performance of a 45 minute set, with all attached promotion at a prestigious NQ music festival mixing it up with the legends!

2nd prize winner of TOWNSVILLE REPRESENT – Passport to Airlie Competition receives:
- Tickets to the entire 3 day festival ($245 each musician)
- A secured set to perform at next year’s Airlie Beach Music Festival

Heat 2 : Sunday 16th JUNE 3pm – The Great Northern Hotel, Townsville
Heat 3 : Sunday 23rd JUNE 3pm – The Great Northern Hotel, Townsville
Final : Sunday 30TH JUNE 6.30PM – The Old Courthouse Theatre, Townsville

9 finalists from 3 heats celebrate Townsvilles Original music scene and compete for a place in the Airlie Beach Music Festival in November, Winners by Judges and Audience vote!

****** HOW IT WORKS ******
- Two bands/musicians from each heat will go into the final on June 30th
- Each band/musician needs to at least 2 original pieces
- Each band/musician has a maximum 25 minutes including set up time
- Each band/musician will be seen and rated by a panel of 3 judges selected from Townsville Music Industry professional, rating will include musicianship, audience reaction and how many fans turn up to competition, entrance polling
- PA and basic sound equipment will be provided, more details to be confirmed
