LAURENCE PAGE: Actor, Writer, Comedian, Musician
Laurence Page is a Brisbane born actor, writer, comedian and musician. Since his arrival in Townsville in 2008, he has performed stand-up comedy for Pimlico High School's annual concert 'Pimlico Presents' two years in a row. He has also performed for Mayhem Magazine, the Townsville Youth Festival and Full Throttle, as well as directing his own concert and appearing in four of the Townsville Choral Society's musicals; including Snowboy in "West Side Story" and one of the Higgins' Servants for "My Fair Lady". He has also written nine original serious songs among parodies.
Currently, he is striving to complete a Bachelor of Education at James Cook University whilst maintaining his theatrical activities.
His hobbies include laughing at people including himself, acting like a pompous twit, and making conversations sound 'deep and philosophical' when really... they aren't.
